A letter changes shape depending on where it sits and what it connects to. It's still the same letter, and the dot gives it away.

Six letters never join forward.
A gap inside a word isn't always a space. These six letters connect to the letter before them but never to the one after.

bāb, “door”. The alif in the middle stops the join, so the last ب starts again.
دار
dār, “home”. All three letters are non-joiners, so nothing connects.

Before you start
Do I need to know any Arabic?
No. Nuqtara starts from zero: letter shapes and dots first, then forms, joining, vowel marks and short words.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You can trace your first letter, ب, in the app. After that, a Monthly or Yearly subscription or a Lifetime purchase is needed to continue. There's no ongoing free tier.
Which languages does the app use?
The interface is available in English and Spanish, on iPhone and iPad.
Do I need an account or internet?
No account. All lessons are built into the app and your progress stays on your device. Subscriptions occasionally need a connection to confirm they're still active.
How do I cancel, restore or switch to Lifetime?
Cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings; you keep access until the paid period ends. Use Restore Purchases in the app if your membership is missing. Subscribers can buy Lifetime from Profile, then cancel the old subscription. Full purchase help.
